Damon Jones was charged with wire fraud conspiracy and money laundering and accused of sharing and selling insider information about NBA games.

Former NBA player and assistant coach Damon Jones, named in a sprawling gambling indictment filed last year, plans to plead guilty.

Damon Jones, who starred at University of Houston from 1994-97, initially pleaded not guilty to charges of providing sports bettors with insider information.

Jones was accused last year of selling nonpublic information to gamblers for a cut of their profits. He pleaded not guilty to federal charges in November.
